The staff were very friendly and the hotel's location near the center was amazing. Our room was stylish, spacious, and had comfortable beds along with a modern bathroom. We had a great stay at this affordable hotel.

Everyone from the reception to waitress to housekeeping has shown me extra efforts to perform their jobs with smiles. I went to the restaurant at 3:30pm and begged some food even though it is during off time. Waitress went out of her way to get e a huge salad with bread. I asked housekeeping to change the entire bedding as I am allergic to detergent and they have changed the whole beddig. Room is very spacious and highly functional with wifi anywhere to be reached. I strongly recommend this hotel for business or sight seeig.

The standard double room included useful amenities like a refrigerator, an electric kettle, and climate control.

I stayed only one night. The hotel is confortable and within walking distance (about 10-15 minutes) from the Part Dieu train station, with luggage it was a short 10 euros drive.. We were leaving early the next morning from Part-Dieu. There are pleasant, simple restaurants near-by.

However, Friday night, the night we arrived, I was unable to use the hotel phone system and noone could get in touch with me. In the morning I was told that the phone system of the hotel was disabled and wouldn´t be repaired until Monday. I find that, if real, unacceptable in such a hotel as the Mercure.

The hotel room was massive with a huge bed for us. Comfortable and reliable, good location to many great restaurants across the river. Stayed an additional night and room charge was matched...:)

Had good sleep at the standard double room with a double bed and the bathroom. - the hotel had a stunning location really close to Ab Events. Ideal location in between station and town centre, ample, beautiful rooms Price really cheap for the quality offered moreover breakfast buffet was offered for free for people over 60. Nothing but good... however: wonder if those tarifs are applicable all the time?...

The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and upscale with 6 machines, so that guests have essentials.

Clean, modern, stylish, nice staff, good lounge and general facilities

It was not very relaxing dining alone at breakfast and waiter cleared my table of the food I was eating when I went to get a drink

The hotel was very nice. Check-in staff were friendly and pleasent. Spoke good English, as my French is very poor. All staff, from the bar and restaurant were very pleasent, easy to talk to and very efficient. Food at the bar was nice and well presented. The swimming pool was excellent, maybe a little small, but my son loved it. Breakfast was great. Parking facility was very useful as you are in the city, although not sure where the parking was. Over-all it was a very good Hotel to visit, I will visit again and would recommend this hotel to others.

Beds were really comfortable. Bathrooms small but very clean and well equipped. Brekki was very good with large choice. The hotel location just out from main busy area which gives good night sleep - only takes 10 mins walk to get to main area. Great hotel, well run, and would recommend/stay again.
